Chef John Zaner has a proven history assembling and directing some of the best culinary teams in the country. Attracted by the exciting concept of building something special at La Cantera Hill Country Resort and Spa, Chef Zaner left The Ritz Carlton-Kapalua in Hawaii following 12 years as Executive Chef.
His unmatched resume spanning three decades also includes top chef posts at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, Grand Wailea Resort and Spa in Maui, La Quinta Resort and Spa in California, and for Hyatt Hotels in Los Angeles, Hawaii and Florida.
Chef Zaner’s commitment to excellence is in perfect sync with the culinary team’s vision to make La Cantera a renowned dining destination. Among his duties, Chef Zaner oversees product development for new and improved menu items.
