Mark Weaver



Mark Weaver is the chef/owner of Periphery, a soon to open neighborhood spot in the Historic Monte Vista Neighborhood in San Antonio.

A native of a small West Texas town he found his passion for cooking in Lubbock, of all places, while getting a degree in hospitality management degree from Texas Tech University. After graduation he attended culinary school in Austin and eventually found his way to San Antonio where he worked for Chef Jason Dady at The Lodge Restaurant of Castle Hills. He then went the corporate route for a short time and gained high volume management experience at Pappadeaux before reuniting with Dady to become the chef de cuisine of Tre Trattoria in Alamo Heights for five and a half years.
